Aussie radio pair making miracles in Nepal

98five’s Kirste and Morro are the latest from CBM Australia Network to take up the cause of restoring sight for some of the world’s poorest people.

This morning they were broadcasting from Biratnagar, Nepal for their first show of the week ahead of this Thursday’s Miracles Day

The Breakfast team will spend each morning this week broadcasting from a local hospital to get to grips with what’s involved in cataract surgery and see the difference a simple $32 operation can have on a Nepalese patient; their families, communities and quality of life.

98five listeners can donate $32 to CBM through 98five.com from 6am to 6pm on Thursday 27 August:

•  A $32 miracle to CBM will restore the gift of sight to some of the world’s poorest people suffering from cataract blindness
•  98five plans to raise 2000 eye restoration miracles this year (last year, 98five reached 1800 miracles by the end of the day)
