On Brisbane’s B105 breakfast host Matty Acton has shared some of his Kokoda Trail walk, which he completed two weeks ago, ahead of Anzac Day.
The walk was Acton’s father-in-law’s idea to do together to raise funds for Winter Shelter Toowoomba. The original goal was to raise $10,000 with Acton raising over $27,000 and the team more than $95,000.
Acton said it was one of the most amazing experiences of his life and shared a poem with his listeners this morning. You can here the audio here.
