After a decade on air with radio network SCA in Townsville Queensland, Carly Whittington has made the long trek down the corridor from 102.3 Triple M afternoons to Hit 103.1 mornings.

Carley had left Hit 103.1 in 2022, had a baby girl, then joined Triple M, and now settles back into mornings on her former station and a digital content creator role.

These morning shows for regional Hit Network stations like Townsville need to be live as breakfast is Hit Queensland‘s Bronte and Lakey from the Gold Coast, and afternoons, till 3pm, is for most of Eastern Australia, Perry ‘Pez’ Lazaris.

Triple M and Hit were No 1 and 2 respectively in the last Xtra Insights survey of the region.
