Ben Cousins almost late for first report on Nova 100: Audio

Nova 100’s Hughesy and Kate introduced their new AFL expert, Ben Cousins, for his first segment on the breakfast show yesterday just after 8.30 am.

He made it into the studio with just moments to spare. Cousins, who had been in the news for all the wrong reasons, is making an effort to turn his life around. Apart from his new gig on Nova 100, he’ll be turning out for his first AFL game in 18 months for the Richmond Tigers on Thursday night.

On a music station, Cousins commanded almost as much talk time as Four Corners gave disgraced judge Marcus Einfeld last night. But that’s Melbourne and Football – and the Ben Cousins story.
