CEO Simon Joyce departs MCM Entertainment Group

MCM Entertainment Group has announced the departure of it’s CEO Simon Joyce, effective immediately.

Joyce will continue to act in a consultancy capacity to the business until 2014.

MCM Founder Tony McGinn thanked Joyce for his 13 years’ service, and acknowledged his contribution to the growth of the MCM Media business:

“Simon has played a key role in the growth of our Media business and has served the company with great passion and commitment. After 13 years with MCM we understand Simon’s need to spread his wings and we are happy to support him as he does. Simon leaves this business with our very best wishes for his future success… The Group CEO role is not being replaced.“

The MCM Entertainment Group Board will announce a new leadership structure over the coming weeks, but MCM Media is not commenting further at this time.
