Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty changed the life of the lucky winner of Nova’s Greatest Year Ever competition last night.

 
Chantelle from Port Arlington in Victoria answered her phone to win $100,000 and the chance to live her greatest year.
 
A mother of five, Chantelle works two jobs, on a ferry during the day and a pub in the evenings so needless to say, she was thrilled to win the life changing amount of money.
 
Today, Nova’s Troy Ellis spoke to Chantelle about her win and she says “It hasn’t sunk in yet, it’s crazy!”
 
After Kate, Tim & Marty told her the great news yesterday, Chantelle celebrated over dinner with her family but didn’t get much sleep last night.
 
Still in shock, Chantelle is still working through how she will spend the $100,000 but school fees and day care, and other bills are on her mind. “It’s going to change so many things. I’m very appreciative of both my workplaces but I don’t think I’m going to need to be at both anymore; it’ll be great to spend a bit more time with the kids. They are all at different levels of life and have their different needs, and things; I don’t know, maybe a new car so we aren’t all crammed in the one that we’re in! Thank you so much Nova, it’s just unbelievable!”
 
This life changing win will take the pressure off; her eldest turns 18 in April so now she expects a great birthday party and will have the braces she has been needing.
