Back to work and back to school at Nova 106.9

Instead of celebrating cute little preppies first day of school,  Nova 106.9‘s Ash, Kip & Luttsy with Susie O’Neill decided to celebrate the last first day of school for one lucky listener.

Grade 12 student Ella and friends were picked up by show contributors Mitch “The Prince” Lewis and Nick Allen-Ducat in a decked-out party bus and driven to school, via McDonald’s, for a red carpet arrival.

The Nova Brisbane breakfast team embraced the back-to-school theme by digging out their school uniforms – except Kip who couldn’t find his – sharing their sartorial splendour on social.

Luttsy proudly displayed his honours pocket which Ash outed on-air for being embroidered with ‘Outstanding participation’ saying “This is Luttsy, he was outstanding in the field of participation.”

Luttsy confirming, “I did many many things.”

Mitch did a ring around and had to buy back his blazer which his mother had sold.

Being the son of Rugby League legend, Wally Lewis, Ash suggested someone bought Mitch’s blazer thinking it might actually be valuable.

Elsewhere around the country, other stations were also empathising with their listeners as thne kids went back to school.

In Wollongong, the i98 breakfast team remembered their days as scallywags on the station’s facebook page.
