Community Digital Radio’s future: The Project

Channel Ten’s The Project will report on community radio’s efforts to get enough money to go digital.

A report tonight by the CBAA gained over 40,000 signatures in support of its funding cause for digital radio, but unfortunately, the government didn’t change their stance at this year’s budget.

But the community broadcast sector haven’t gotten where they are today by giving up.

“It’s an election year so we’ll be going to all parties to seek some sort of firm commitment from them on community broadcasting,” says Community Broadcasting Association of Australia’s Adrian Basso, who will be one of the people in tonight’s report on Channel Ten.
