“The importance of community radio can’t be overestimated in the success of country music in Australia,” James Blundell has told the CBAA Conference in Queensland.

“Community radio announcers have longevity, I know they know my music and I have talked to them over many years, so when one of my songs gets played on community radio I know the announcers will help me build my fan base.”

As an AMRAP Ambassador Blundell says the association between artists and AMRAP is a very positive one that helps Australian artists make the money they need “to buy a new pair of boots.”
