Dalet on display at NAB Conference

Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media
management tools for more than a decade, will showcase at the NAB 2005 new technology developments in conjunction with Apple, Omneon, Panasonic and Sony.

The development efforts demonstrate significant advancements in the areas of content acquisition, editing,
graphics and playout for Dalet’s broadcast applications.

Demonstrated on the DaletPlus News Suite solution in Dalet’s booth SL1953 is support for Panasonic’s P2 acquisition technology. The new development allows News Suite users to preview and transfer P2 MXF material faster than realtime.

Also shown on the DaletPlus News Suite solution is Sony’s PDW-1500 XDCAM deck featuring
MPEG IMX/DVCAM switchable recording. DaletPlus users can review and record DVCAM and
MPEG IMX material via i.Link AVC or File Access Mode.
