DCL still in red despite SEN input

Despite the cash input from SEN, Data & Commerce Ltd is still sailing close to the wind in its monthly accounts.

In the latest accounts, filed with the Stock Exchange, DCL made $275,000 in “receipts from customers” and spent $211,000 on staff costs. Working capital absorbed $248,000 resulting in a net operating cash-flow deficit of $183,000.

Redundancy payments following the closure of the 3AK format were $174,000, with further redundancy payments expected to hit the accounts for another two months. DCL’s Cash on hand is currently $237,000.

Last month Jeff Chatfield sold his parcel of shares to Mike Norris for 6.5 cents a share, confirming his exit from the company’s share register.

DCL shares have been suspended for some time and the company is required to file monthly reports to the ASX to prove its ongoing solvency.
