Youth network, Triple J, says it will not withdraw a promotional image, depicting its logo hanging from the World Trade Centre.

The network has told Marcus Casey in The Daily Telegraph that the image will stay on its website.

While the site shows the logo on other icons, including the Opera House and Parliament, it is the New York image which has caused outrage in Australia and accusations that the network is exploiting tragedy.

The issue has sparked letters and talkback calls of complaint.
