Cairns’ 99.5 Sea FM is broadcasting listeners’ comments in return for movie cash, CD Cash and Maccas Cash today.

Sea FM Program Director Ryan Khay has told radioinfo:

“While Potts and Pacey the Sea FM Morning crew are on annual leave, local afternoon announcer Mark Littler will fill in on the show with the help of listeners. They can talk about anything for 30 seconds and we will reward them with movie cash to redeem for movie tickets at Birch Carroll and Coyle, CDs or Maccas Vouchers.”

Having a go at a rival station, which caused controversy recently, Sea FM says, “unlike other recent cash for comment scandals, Sea FM is fully aware of the situation, and it has been disclosed to all parties involved.”

Thankfully, no one will be loosing their jobs over this cash for comment escapade.
