dmg radio announces partnership with Australian Open for 2010

dmg Radio Australia has announced a partnership with the Australian Open. For the first time the Nova and vega networks will be a major partner for one of the most exciting events on the sporting calendar, the Australian Tennis Open, held in Melbourne during January.

Nova 100 and vega 91.5fm General Manager Sam Thompson has told radioinfo:

“Melbourne comes alive when the Australian Open starts. Nova and vega are thrilled to be part of the event and will be keeping listeners up to date with everything happening on and off the court during the tournament.”

Australian Open 2010 boasts world class tennis, food and entertainment, and dmg Radio Australia “is the perfect radio partner to compliment this prestigious event,” according to Thompson.

Nova announcers Hughesy and Kate, Merrick & Rosso & Kate Ritchie and Nova’s national Drive show Ryan, Monty and Wippa will play a role in Nova’s relationship with Australian Open 2010.

Further details of the partnership will be announced over the following weeks in the lead up to Open, which takes place between 18 – 31 January 2010.
