Zircon Broadcast console

The Zircon will be on show in conjunction with the Z4. “These 2 consoles are perfect in a stand alone station or in the configuration we will be demonstrating, with remote network breakaway capability.”

The Zircon is capable of feeding 6 separate broadcast feeds from the one console with complete breakaway capability. It can be configured with up to 36 faders and up to 192 inputs. If you want you can also connect to either the Nova 17 or Nova 73 giving you a further 2048 inputs. Not to mention the features of Madi and ATM.

One of the best features of the Zircon is its memory card technology which enables the presenter to save the configuration of the desk to be exactly the way they like it. This includes fader position Eq and source selection, enabling you to have a completely different desk setup for each show from breakfast to late night talkback.

The z4 digital mixer

The z4 on the other hand is a small digital broadcast mixing console for simple but nevertheless ambitious productions of high quality. With up to 14 local inputs (analogue and digital) and the option to be integrated in external matrix controls, this 4 fader console covers almost all fields of the contemporary studio environment: from the editor’s workplace to news control rooms and ENG vans, to be used as substitution mixer or as entry level digital console if your budgets a bit tight.

“The integrated high-quality voice processor and the limiters in the summing buses not only guarantee excellent results in sound but also simple and confident handling.

And the price is right too, the product is almost ‘perfect’. We set new standards with the z4.”

In addition to the LAWO AG’s range of products D.A.V.I.D DigaSystems will have there range of Broadcast automations software and content management tools on show.

“Come and check out our functioning radio network with D.A.V.I.D DigaSystems DigaRoc product providing the radio playback in two markets as well as the DigAIRange tool for scheduling.

The best thing about their tool set is it is highly flexible and will work with pretty much anything. So if you have your favourite program scheduling tool but the provider of that tool doesn’t provide a delivery system that works reliably then Diga Systems is the answer.
