Ed Sheeran takes the fast lane to No. 22 with ‘Overpass Graffiti’: AirCheck

In the wake of the release of his new studio album =, Ed Sheeran posts yet another debut on the National Radio Airplay Chart in the form of latest cut ‘Overpass Graffiti’.

Entering at No. 22, it’s Sheeran’s fourth Top 40 debut of 2021, following ‘Bad Habits’, ‘Visiting Hours’ and ‘Shivers’. Only Justin Bieber (5) has more debuts in the bracket this year. Nova, Hit 106.9, B105 and Sea FM offered strong first-week support for the track, which earned a total of 287 spins nationally.

Legendary trio Swedish House Mafia make a triumphant return to the airwaves as ‘Moth To A Flame’ debuts at No. 30. The track – which features radio heavyweight The Weeknd – ranked in the Top 10 most-played songs on triple j this week.

Riton & Nightcrawlers return to the Top 40 for the first time since July with their banger ‘Friday’ feat. Mufasa & Hypeman. The national Nova network pumped an additional 107 spins into the song this week, with all five stations collectively accounting for over 90% of total spins.
