Elliott-2UE Conflict Resolved

Malcolm T Elliott has come to an agreement with 2UE after considering legal action over his resignation.

The radio veteran walked out more than a week ago, after 11 years at the station, saying at the time: “I wouldn’t cross the road to work for them again, under any circumstances. I feel as if I’ve been treated like a kid.”

Elliott claimed 2UE owed him thousands of dollars in entitlements, but Program Manager, Sandy Aloisi, says an agreement has been reached and everything has been resolved amicably.

Elliott, who is 58, underwent sudden quintuple bypass surgery earlier this year, but says he is not ready to hang up his headphones yet.

“I love my craft, and am committed to it.”
