The Big Bash League (BBL) is back for 2025/6 and Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will again broadcast every ball and game live across SEN and the SEN app so that cricket fans don’t miss a moment of Australia’s premier Twenty20 competition.
Season 15 launched with the Perth Scorchers hosting the Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium. Playing in the BBL are Pakistan stars Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan for the entire tournament. And plenty of Australians of course with that tally added to post Ashes.
SEN will broadcast all 40 games of the BBL|15 regular season live and all four finals games. The commentary team including Bharat Sundaresan, Brad Hogg, Mike Whitney, Darren Berry, Bryce McGain, Steve O’Keefe, Peter Handscomb, Liam Pickering, Chadd Sayers, Doug Bollinger and Brett Geeves, plus play-by-play with Tim Gossage, John Donohoe, Jimmy Smith, Jack Fulham, David Lithgow, Adam White, David Wildy, Julian King, Peter Vlahos and Tom Morris. SEN’s commentary teams will be based around the country live and in-venue, and on some days throughout the summer there will be up 16 hours of cricket available to be heard nationwide across SEN, with the Ashes Test match coverage running straight into back-to-back BBL games.
SEN CEO, Craig Hutchison, said:
“The Big Bash League continues to be one of the most exciting T20 competitions in the world, and we’re thrilled to bring every ball to fans across the country. With our outstanding Big Bash Nation commentary team and the latest SEN technology – including SEN Sync and SEN Stadium available to all Big Bash fans – we’re making it easier than ever for listeners to stay connected to the action and experience the energy of the BBL wherever they are.”
