Fear and Greed from Adam Lang and Michael Thompson

Wednesday 20 May, 2020
Economist Sean Aylmer has launched a new daily podcast series called Fear And Greed

Fear And Greed is produced by former Macquarie Media executives Michael Thompson (producer) and Adam Lang (operations).

Fear and greed are the primal drivers that fuel so many of our thoughts and actions. They are also two of the strongest drivers of volatility on financial markets. But the best decisions are always informed decisions, so the podcast will set listeners up for a successful day with important business information.

Every weekday morning listeners will get all the business news they need to know in less than 20 minutes from Aylmer, one of Australia's most respected economists and business journalists.

As well as the latest stories and why they matter, Fear And Greed will feature an interview each day.

For the first episode this week Aylmer spoke with Shane Oliver, Head of Investment Strategy and Chief Economist at AMP Capital.

The podcast is available by 6:30 am Monday to Friday and ensures listeners are fully prepared for the day in less than 20 minutes. Today's episode is below.

The podcast covered a number of topics in under 20 minutes. Language is clear and is in plain English. Having visited the website at https://omny.fm/shows/fear-and-greed/playlists/podcast .

Since there is no paywall, and based on one of the listened-to podcasts having no advertisement and given that the podcast is professionally produced how do the producers and host monetise (make money) these podcasts?

Thank you,
Anthony of pondering how to make money Belfield
