Fran Kelly is taking a break from presenting RN’s breakfast before taking up the role as host of the ABC’s Insiders for the rest of this year.

Patricia Karvelas will move off drive to fill in at breakfast for a couple of weeks before Hamish McDonald takes over the remainder of the year.

David Speers has been confirmed as the new host for Insiders beginning in 2020.
