Globally recognised CD to head up Authentic Entertainment’s Creative Team

Award-winning Creative Director, Jamie McTavish to ramp up client offering

Authentic Entertainment (formerly known as MCM) has appointed internationally acclaimed ECD, Jamie McTavish, as the company’s Creative Director.

McTavish’s work has gained global recognition having won multiple awards as an executive creative director. Hi work incudes the global Heineken James Bond Skyfall ‘Crack the Case’ TVC for which he wrote the original concept.

Over 25 years he’s worked in Australia, London, Malaysia, Africa and most recently, Korea.

From Saatchi in London and Sydney, and Clemenger BBDO here, to GREY Africa, he has held senior creative posts at some of the industry’s leading agencies. As well as leading strategy and business development, he has devised and overseen creative campaigns for some of world’s biggest brands, including Heinz, Unilever, Nestle, PepsiCo Foods, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Mercedes-Benz and Disney, as well as Heineken, to name just a few.

Starting in early July, Jamie joins Authentic Entertainment from Seoul where he has been working on Heineken within a division of Ogilvy.

He has personally won over 60 International Awards at The Cannes Awards, D&AD, One Show New York, London International, Campaign Press Awards, Campaign Poster Awards, BPME Radio Awards, Mobius, Euro Best, Clio, Caxtons, Asia Pacific & Australian Art Directors Club.

McTavish, originally from WA said, “It’s great to be moving back to Australia, and joining the leadership team at Authentic Entertainment. I have always been a great admirer of MCM Media and the work they do, and as they enter a new chapter as Authentic Entertainment, I’m looking forward to working with their stellar client portfolio on creating some memorable – and hopefully award-winning – campaigns.”
