The Today Network has congratulated Hamish & Andy plus Dave Thornton on their wins at the annual GQ Magazine Men of the Year Awards.

The ever popular Hamish and Andy were crowned Men of the Year, beating tough competition including Hugh Jackman.

Meanwhile, incoming Fox Breakfast 2014 host and funnyman Dave Thornton was awarded the Comedian of the Year prize.

Dave Thornton said: “I was really gunning for GQ Bikini Model of the Year but Comedian of the Year is still just as good. GQ put on a fantastic evening and seeing Hamish and Andy win the big prize made me realise it takes a lot of work to become GQ Man of the Year – so much so it took two men to do it!”
