After today announcing an expansion of regional surveys, Xtra Insights have given us the first for 2024, for Roma in Queensland, their first since April 2021. Hit95.1 Maranoa is the top radio station, increasing it’s audience from 23.9 market share of ages 10+ to a very impressive 32.8.

In the previous survey ABC Southern Queensland were the leaders, with Hit second and 4ZR AM third. The ABC and 4ZR dropped by 5.6 and 4.1 respectively, meaning the ABC is now 10 points behind Hit95.1.

The newly networked breakfast pairing for Hit of Bronte and Lakey are resonating with Roma. They were up 11.5 to 35.5, again nearly 10 points ahead of the ABC’s Daniel Iliffe. Hit was also the only station to see their cumulative audience grow, up by more than 1000 listeners.
