HOT FM WA’s brekkie team Rob and Heidi will begin their Home Delivered campaign in Merredin next Monday and will then taste their way across 10 towns in Western Australia, to decide the ‘tastiest’ town by Friday 27 May.
Listeners will be encouraged to head to the live outside broadcast being Home Delivered to their town and choose an ingredient (some delicious, some terrible) to add to their town’s unique pizza.
Every 15 minutes a unique ingredient will be added to the pizza and in the last 30mins of the HOT FM brekkie show it will be cooked on-site. Then it will be time for the lucky food critics, Rob and Heidi, to officially ‘taste the town’.
Each town’s distinctive pizza will be scored, and one lucky town will be crowned the prestigious winner of HOT FM Home Delivered 2011.
Listeners who head down to any of the HOT FM outside broadcasts will have the chance to win a range of prizes, including going in the draw to win their own gas powered pizza oven. Towns visited will be:
