Actually, Pegasus is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides equestrian activities for people with disabilities.

They bring horses and people together to achieve their potential.

Tomorrow Biggzy of Rod & Biggzy fame on MIX 106.3’s Breakfast Show is going to be ‘riding’ through the ACT on her fibreglass horse as the station continues its fundraising campaign for Pegasus to assist the school to continue running over the next 12 months. So far over $40,000 has been raised for the school by the Canberra community.

Before the ride commences, during the Rod & Biggzy Breakfast Show the hosts will be calling for donations both small and large from the ACT business community, before embarking on the ride across the ACT and finishing in Queanbeyan. The route includes 2 schools where the pupils have raised funds and several shopping centres where the public are invited to throw some coins into the bucket and help increase the amazing level of donations already received.

Like many local charities Pegasus is feeling the effects of the downturn in donations that are so crucial to keeping the organisation operating. So Mix106.3’s Rod & Biggzy are getting behind the school and assisting with essential fund and awareness raising in the ACT.
