In celebration of International Women’s Day this Saturday March 8, ABC Extra is hosting a pop-up digital radio station.

The station will feature highlights from the long-running ABC women’s program The Coming Out Show – heard on RN for over 20 years.

Natasha Mitchell’s presentation of six moving stories of teenage girls from vastly different cultures on Life Matters will also be showcased.

Plus you can hear the powerful Hindsight documentary backgrounding the current Royal Commission hearings on the abuse suffered by girls in NSW institutions during the 1960s and 70s.

The special International Women’s Day pop up station can be heard on ABC Digital in the capital cities, online through the ABC website and also via the ABC smartphone app.
