Nova 100’s new breakfast show, Meshel and Tommy, have had some fun first weeks on air culminating this morning with Tommy seeing his ‘brilliant’ idea of creating FED, a bread filled with delicious ingredients that is ready to throw straight into the toaster, come to life.
 
It’s no secret to listeners that Tommy loves unique inventions although they are not always original or successful, like a pair of shoes that zipped off into thongs and attempting to cook a chicken in the dishwasher.
 
In December last year Tommy came up the idea of FED, ingredients baked into bread to limit the time spent buttering and putting condiments on his toast.
 
Yesterday his idea come to fruition when Baker’s Delight took him into their Centre for Excellence to create a range of sweet and savoury filled breads and this morning Tommy tested his creation live on air. They also gave away bread to listeners.
