This morning Kyle & Jackie O returned to Melbourne to broadcast live from Frankston Centenary Tennis Club and drop hundreds of foam tennis balls packed with over $100,000 in cash and diamonds from a helicopter onto the court below. However there were some last minute hurdles with the helicopter before the balls were dropped from 40 metres in the air, on a cherry picker.

120 lucky listeners from Melbourne and Sydney all vied for the prizes with each participant collecting two balls. Kyle & Jackie O then announced the results live on air with every ball containing a prize from cash amounts to luxury jewellery from K’Dor and for Matt from Melbourne’s Surrey Hills, $20,000 cash, thanks to Coinspot.

After the centre-court action, Kyle Sandilands said:

“They tried to shut it down, but the balls dropped regardless. People were in a frenzy, and everyone was loving it.”

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson added:

“Everyone was going mad for the balls! It was a frenzy, people were swarming, and everyone walked away a winner.”
