Macquarie Regional Radio Works on the move

When Macquarie Regional Radio Works bought the former RG Capital and DMG regional stations, a series of relocations in various markets became inevitable. Those relocations are in progress in some key regional Eastern States markets.

Sea and Mix FM are in the same building as Hot and 4TO in Martinez Avenue Townsville after a recent move.

Macquarie RRW’s Albury stations successfully switched locations on Wednesday night, with The River and 2AY swapping premises. 2AY is in David Street while The River and Star are located in Swift Street.

Staff in Albury have had to get used to new systems as they swapped over from Maestro to Wizard and vice versa in the move.

All the new premises have at the same time been upgraded to RCS Selector’s Version 15.

From next weekend, all of Cairns’ commercial stations will be in one building when Sea FM will be moved into the Hot/4CA studios in Abbot St.

Mackay stations are also expected to consolidate into one building in the future.

Group PD, Rod Brice, is full of praise for the technical team who are driving the moves, and he has also congratulated the network’s programming and sales staff for their cooperation during the moves. The RCS install team, led by Jarrod Graetz, have also been recognised by Brice for their contribution to the changes being made in the network.
