Chrissie Swan gone! Another major rumour has been confirmed as true with ARN’s announcement that the new Breakfast show for the KIIS rebrand in Melbourne from January 2015 is Matt Tilley and Jane Hall.
ARN’s Content Director Duncan Campbell said KIIS 101.1 is going to be a genuinely fresh new station for Melbourne audiences.
“KIIS 101.1 will be a new station built specifically for Melbourne listeners with an exciting new breakfast show hosted by Matt and Jane. They will make for a dynamic and entertaining combination with a passion for the city set against the backdrop of a new energetic station”
Jane Hall, who joined ARN in 2012, partnering with Chrissie Swan in brekafast on the soon-to-be defunct Mix 101.1, is well-known face on Australian television screens, with acting roles on All Together Now, A Country Practice, and Neighbours,

Matt Tilley joins ARN after 24 years with SC- most of it with FOX in Breakfast with Jo Stanley, but this year with Triple M, Melbourne. making a much awaited return to the coveted breakfast slot after hosting drive for a year.
Matt’s engaging wit, warmth and wicked sense of humour saw him recruited for radio while he was still at University where his talent for sketch comedy landed him an early gig writing and performing on iconic TV show Fast Forward. He has found unprecedented success in almost every radio time slot since – from an award-winning late night shift, to co-hosting breakfast for 16 years on Fox FM where he was consistently #1FM breakfast in Melbourne, through to this year co-hosting a successful national drive show.

In, what many consider a surprise move, ARN also announced today that Chrissie Swan, who has presented breakfast on Mix101.1 with Jane since 2012, will be leaving the network. “Chrissie has been a valued member of the team at Mix101.1 and ARN, where her bright personality and infectious humour has endeared her to audiences. ARN wishes her every success in the future,” says Campbell.
