Mix102.3 Program Director Kevin Mulcahy is heading from Adelaide to Melbourne as the new PD of Gold104.3 in Melbourne.

Mulcahy has been Program Director at Mix102.3 for 18 months, prior to which he was an on air. He has also worked on air at 5AA and Triple M.

He follows the Melbourne move earlier this year of former Mix102.3 General Manager Steve Rowe.

Mix102.3 General Manager George Fiacchi told radioinfo: “This is a great opportunity for Kevin and we wish him and his family all the best in Melbourne. Kev has been an integral part of our success over the last 18 months and an entertaining announcer prior to that. Once again it great too see that our network recognises and rewards the quality of Adelaide’s talent.”

Mulcahy takes up his appointment in four weeks with his replacement to be announced in due course.
