Nova 969 has launched its new marketing push to encourage Sydney radio listeners to tune in to Merrick and Rosso and Kate Ritchie weekdays 6-9am. The series of three television commercials introduce the new tag line for the breakfast show, “Join The Team”.
The creative for the ads was developed in house with Merrick Watts, Tim Ross, Dean Buchanan, Jane Earnshaw, Adam Williscroft, and Shandra Moran all getting writing credits.
dmg Radio Australia’s Group Program Director, Dean Buchanan, said: “The new campaign is an irreverent slant on team building exercises. In typical Nova fashion Merrick & Rosso & Kate Ritchie are a fun and self deprecating team, and this campaign is about inviting the listeners to join the team and have a bit of fun with them”.
The TVCs also mark the first time that Merrick & Rosso’s production company Smoke and Mirrors has produced a Nova 969 TVC from concept through to post production.
