Neil Mitchell, the multi award winning Mornings Presenter on Melbourne’s 3AW is reportedly set to retire after 36 years with the station.

The Herald Sun (subscription required) says Mitchell, whose contract was extended from June to the end of this year, would be replaced by 3AW Drive host Tom Elliott with former Channel 7 presenter Jacqui Felgate tipped to take over from Elliott.

GfK Radio 360 Survey 4 had Mitchell on top in Mornings, with 3AW enjoying its 71st consecutive survey wins for the station.
