Nova 100 begins the year with a Grand Slam

Nova 100 is presenting the hottest bands, entertainment and live broadcasts from the Australian Open 2013.  The station is the official FM partner for one of Melbourne’s most popular and internationally recognised sporting events for the fourth consecutive year.

In one of the best ways to return from leave, next week Hughesy & Kate will broadcast their annual live breakfast OB at the first day of the Australian Open 2013.

Tennis legend Roger Rasheed will also join the breakfast pair throughout the Open, to provide insights on what is happening both on and off the courts.

Other shifts on Nova 100 will also be live from Grand Slam Oval throughout Open, with Deano from 9am to 1pm and Kelli Paun from 1pm to 4pm on weekdays and live broadcasts on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm.

Nova will also deliver the best live music acts on Grand Slam Oval for the entire event including a host of bands and artists, along with great live DJs and cover bands.

While the action is taking place on the courts, a ground pass will score crowds a host of bands and artists, from established names to new artists along with great live DJs and cover bands, in a party atmosphere in Grand Slam Oval. Cover bands will kick off from 3pm and feature artists will be heard from 6pm (details below) with intimate performances for week one, and from Australia Day full band feature acts will set the scene for a hot night of entertainment.
