Now listeners can tag whole shows on FM

While tagging of songs you hear on FM radio so you can buy them on iTunes has been around since December last year, Austereo says it is the first network to introduce the tagging of whole shows on new 5th Generation iPod Nanos.

Reinforcing radio’s important role in music discovery, the technology allows users to tag content with the press of a button when they are listening to FM radio on a 5Th Generation iPod Nano and then download the audio at a later date on demand via podcast.

Listeners of all stations on the Today and Triple M networks nationally will be able to tag on-air shows on their Nano. The podcasts download when they next connect to the iTunes store.
