Saudi Arabia may allow private radio stations after a government study on allowing investments into the radio industry.

The study was carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Information in association with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority.

The ministry is expected to set out a regulatory framework for private participation in the next few months.
