RadioDNS continues to grow as a global organisation defining and promoting open standards for hybrid radio.
Their technical group is developing new hybrid radio functionality, and the Automotive Workshops, organised with WorldDAB, bring broadcasters and manufacturers together to solve implementation issues for broadcast radio in vehicles.
Project Director of RadioDNS, Nick Piggott, says, “RadioDNS has evolved to be the centre of education and development for hybrid radio globally, and we support that practically with the creation of new and entirely open technical standards for hybrid radio, and information and intelligence for our members. I’m proud that so many organisations, from every sector, see the value in supporting our mission.”
Current RadioDNS Steering Board chair David Layer says “It’s gratifying to see that broadcasters around the world are recognizing the value RadioDNS brings to the hybrid radio space. This is an important time for broadcasters to be involved in shaping technical standards for hybrid radio that the industry will rely upon for years to come.”
