2024 was meant to see Ryan Bridge hosting his own NZ TV current affairs program but, after Newshub‘s closure saw it cancelled, Bridge has now been announced as the new presenter of the Early Edition show on New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME)‘s Newstalk ZB.

Bridge was previously co-host on TV3’s AM Show for two and a half years. The move to radio will see Bridge cover the latest international and domestic news developments, sport, entertainment and business from 5am to 6am weekdays.

Bridge commences the new role on Monday July 8.
