Brown has been at SCA since 2015.

The former Head of Digital Innovation and Operations has 20 years’ experience, and prior to SCA worked at Nova Entertainment, News Corp, ARN and Clear Channel Radio in New York, and joined SCA as Director of Digital Sales and Operations.

A statement from SCA’s Chief Sales Officer Brian Gallagher supplied to radioinfo said that Brown’s role will not be refilled following his departure. 

“SCA has been transitioning Digital Sales into the Metro Radio Sales teams with product development support from the Brand Asset and Digital Operations teams.   

“Effectively all direct sold digital inventory is now packaged and sold within radio products by radio teams. Unfortunately, this has impacted on Steve Brown who has now left the company on completion of this transition.

“Steve has been with us since 2015 as the Head of Digital Sales and has made a significant contribution to our digital sales efforts and to the Vevo partnership.  I wish him all the best for the future.”
