The 2013 National Regional Rural and Sub Metro Broadcasters conference is on June 14th to 16th at the Wagga Wagga RSL Club.
The conference is the flagship event of the Southern Community Media Association, which provides support and assistance to regional, rural and sub-metro community member stations through a number of initiatives, such as training opportunities, open discussion, and a strong network support system.
Some of the topics being covered this year include basic bookkeeping, station security, conflict resolution and the use of social media.
Funding for next year’s event is reliant on attendance figures for this year’s conference, so members are strongly encouraged to attend, learn, make friends and extend their networks.
