Branson talks planes, Aussie women and a naughty Keith Richards…

Sir Richard Branson was in Perth to launch Virgin Australia as WA’s new regional airline and spoke to Mix 94.5’s Dean Clairs and Shane McFarlane from its drive show, The Big Couch.

He spoke of the airline’s growth, before touching on Australia’s beautiful women – “You do make ’em in Australia”.

Things got particularly saucy when he moved onto a tale about his involvement with The Rolling Stones. 

“Keith Richards was recording at a studio in Oxford called The Manor, and he was misbehaving with somebody else’s wife. The husband banged on the door and opened it and there was the husband standing there with a gun in his hand wanting to see Keith.”
