Steve Liebmann will replace Steve Price on 2UE mornings

Steve Liebmann will replace Steve Price as the new host of 2UE’s weekday Morning Show. He will take over the role from next Monday, working right through the summer holiday period and into next year.

Liebmann has told radioinfo:

“I feel quite privileged to have been offered the 2UE Morning Show, given the heritage associated with the station and the time-slot.

“Ultimately I’m there to entertain, but given the Morning audience stretches across New South Wales and beyond, I am aware of the responsibility to deliver cut through opinion and content.”

Steve Liebmann is well known to the 2UE audience, having first started at the station as a news reporter in 1968 and more recently filled-in on the Breakfast and Morning Programs. He has had a long career in commercial radio and tv.

2UE General Manager Tim McDermott says Liebmann’s profile and news experience makes him the ideal person to take over from Steve Price in Mornings.

The station has conducted “extensive research” over recent months and Steve Liebmann continually returned strong figures.

The 2UE Morning Show is syndicated through 32 network stations stretching from Tweed Heads to the north, Alice Springs in the far west and Eden in the south.
