The next Nova Red Room to go swimmingly

Nova Entertainment has announced the next artist to perform live in the Nova Red Room is Jaten Collin Dimsdale, much better known as Teddy Swims. This is the third Red Room show in Melbourne for 2024, taking place at Northcote Theatre on Sunday July 14 to an intimate crowd of just 500 invitees.

Teddy Swims said of the acoustic set he has planned:

“I’m so excited to return to Australia in July! We are preparing something really special for this intimate show in Melbourne! Can’t wait to see you, I love you!”

The event will be hosted by Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips, with the Nova 100 breakfast duo also accompanied by newsreader Clint Stanaway.

Swims is also in Australia in July to tour his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), via Warner Records. He first caught attention through covers he would perform on his YouTube channel in 2019, spending much of the last four years though writing this debut that would tell his story to the people who were ready to receive it.

Brendan Taylor, Group Programming Director for the Nova Network, said:

“Teddy Swims absolutely amazed us with his powerhouse vocals in 2023 for a Nova’s Red Room studio session, so to bring this to a live audience will be truly incredible.

For Teddy to go from a 500 person invite-only set to a sold-out Margaret Court Arena show, shows the intimacy and exclusivity of these events.”

Swims’ song ‘Lose Control’ went to No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with one of the longest climbs to get there in Hot 100 history.

People can win their way to attend this Nova’s Red Room event by listening to Jase & Lauren, Nova 100 locally, Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, Ben, Liam & Belle, Smallzy’s Surgery, The Chrissie Swan Show or entering via The Nova Player.
