The ABC have brought back their A-Zs after Melbourne was highlighted last year, but this time 612 ABC Radio Brisbane is looking for the stories, local legends, hidden gems, and they want you to help decide Brisbane’s best suburb.
Every fortnight, a new letter of the alphabet will be featured to unleash a Battle of the Burbs. The ABC have commenced with C. Things from Caboolture to Cedar Creek are about to get feisty!
This celebration of the suburbs will uncover what makes Greater Brisbane vibrant, diverse, and full of character.
Craig Zonca and Loretta Ryan will reveal a new letter each fortnight during Monday Breakfast . Your job from there is to rally behind your postcode pride and convince us why your suburb deserves the crown.
Over the following week, ABC Brisbane will collect and share your calls, texts and submissions across the day with Craig and Loretta later to reveal the winning suburb. From there, the suburb steps into the spotlight: stories shared across the station, presenters heading out to experience it firsthand, and a radio package recorded right in the heart of the winning community.
