It was time to feast at the weekend when Hamish & Andy were joined by competition winners for a Chilean BBQ dinner party in Santiago.
The event took place ahead of the final episode of their hugely successfuly TV series airing, Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year South America. Fourteen Today Network competition winners from around Australian joined the boys thanks to corporate partners CC’s and Channel Nine.
Hudson Dowell from Victoria won the ultimate crown of “Somberella” after winning a national search for the listener with the perfect head to fit a silver sombrero, designed by Milliner, Richard Nylon.
Hamish & Andy will now take a break from their successful TV series which produced four Gap Year series – US, Europe, Asia and finally South America. The series saw Hamish Blake win the Gold Logie in 2012. The final episode of Gap Year South America averaged an impressive one million viewers on Tuesday night.
Blake and Lee will now focus on their daily Melbourne radio show on the Today Network across the country and Fox FM in Melbourne.
