The Today Network and Triple M to Broadcast Live from London

Southern Cross Austereo has announced that The Today Network’s national drive show Fifi & Jules, will be broadcasting live from London for the Olympic Games. The duo will throw a party with drive-time counterparts Hamish & Andy, during the first week of the Games.

During their time in London, Fifi & Jules will interview a number of athletes and celebrities.

Friends of the show and 24 listeners from Australia will be taken to London and invited to the party.

“When people think of the London Olympics, they immediately think of Fifi & Jules, don’t they? OK… Admittedly, we’re not well-known for our sports broadcasting”, Fifi said.

Jules added, “but keep in mind, travelling internationally with Fifi is a sport in itself. It requires stamina, nerves of steel and ‘paw paw cream’ which says a lot, since I’ve spent a decade travelling for a living.”

Triple M Melbourne’s Hot Breakfast lead by Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy will be broadcasting live from ‘The Last Lap’ – the nightly athlete and celebrity party – with Triple M being its exclusive radio partner.

Triple M’s The Hot Breakfast Host Eddie McGuire said, “The Last Lap is where all the champions go to play. It will be party central. It’s all very well being in the Olympic Village but the athletes want to get out of there and into Central London and the epicentre is going to be at The Hot Breakfast studio at The Last Lap.”
