Triple J sets the room on fire

This Friday on Triple J, Myf Warhurst will present the new album
from the world’s favourite NYC rock group, The Strokes. For the first time in
Australia, listeners can hear this highly anticipated album in full, from start to finish.

In 2001, The Strokes hit the international spotlight with ‘Is This It’. An album
that reinvigorated rock music and birthed the revival of interest in raw bands
like the White Stripes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jet.

This month, the Strokes follow up their debut with a new album. ‘Room On Fire’ is eleven tracks and just over 30 minutes long and will be heard in full on the station on Friday October 10 from 1pm.
