With full permission from their 92.9 boss, Austereo’s Paul Hogan and Basil Zempilas are moonlighting on the newly launched Triple M Perth for the next few weeks.

Their show, Drop Kick & Punt, airs Fridays 9am on the new digital station.

Hogan has told radioinfo: “We’re so pumped about Finals footy, especially Freo earning a home Prelim, that we need a solid hour of radio to bang on about it.

“The show is called Drop Kick & Punt. One of us is the Drop Kick and the other one is Baz.

“We’ll exploit Baz’s prized iPhone address book to hunt down players, coaches and journos. And we’ll exploit my ability to show him how to use said iPhone.”

The pair are not strangers to the M’s – Zempilas having called Triple M footy and Hogan’s previous radio gig hosting Triple M’s national night show.

In their day job, Paul and Baz are two thirds of 92.9’s breakfast team, Lisa, Paul and Baz.
