FUNERAL DETAILS  – A live stream to watch the funeral service of Arthur Higgins will be held at 11:45am AEDT on Friday December 12th.

The funeral, 11:30 for the 11:45 service, is being held at Joyce Chapel, Fawkner Memorial Park. Drinks to follow at BrewDog Pentridge E-Division, 1 Champ St Coburg

Radio has lost another industry veteran in Arthur Higgins, who has passed away at the age of 85 on November 29.

Arthur was a well-known voice on the airwaves, both as a host and news presenter, across his five decade career on stations including Sydney’s 2GB, Brisbane’s 4BH and Melbourne’s 3UZ, 3DB and 3AK.

Later he would host a Drive program on Vision Australia Radio (3RPH).

Fondly remembered among colleagues as a gentleman and consummate professional with a great sense of humour, Higgins was also a familiar face to television viewers, forging a long and successful career at Channel Nine.
