Many radio industry folks would remember the voice of Rod Field.

Rod passed away peacefully Saturday night in a Brisbane Hospital, after a battle with cancer, at age 52.

Rod will be remembered as the continuity voice of ABC TV, as well as the station and commercial voice for numerous radio stations around Australia, and countless corporate narrations.

Rod’s funeral is in Port Macquarie this Friday 22 June, 2pm at St Agnes Church, Hay Street, Port Macquarie.

The plan is that guests will remember the good fun things that Rod did, and that is the theme for the funeral.
